No, it's not another one of the mag v mag debates!

Went to my usual stockist for this month's mags (An Esso petrol station!)

They had WK, but not KC.... staff about as useful as a Eunuch's jockstrap.....

Before I venture into town to WH Smith, has anyone else had problems?

It should have been out yesterday but my local newsagent still didn't have it this morning.

May be a distribution problem then.... The Esso garage is normally quick off the mark (often buy it in the early hours of the Saturday after publication day when on way home from late working) and they are usually on the ball!

Will wait to see what happens by Monday (don't fancy City Centre on a Sturday afternoon!)

In my local WH. Smith (Bury) WK? is always on sale 5-7 days before KC.

Happen KC is late cos' Den spends too much time posting on this forum.....

I went to WH Smiths yesterday at lunchtime but they didn't have either. They said the release date had probably just been delayed a couple of days.

You cheeky monkey!

Thankfully I don’t have much to do with the production schedule, so can’t affect delivery one way or the other. Even if I do spend all my time chatting with you. However, I do know what’s going on.

The magazine was printed on Monday, should have been bound and delivered on Tuesday, but due to a problem with the binding machine, it wasn’t delivered till Thursday morning. Our distributor got them delivered into most of the 100 regional wholesalers on Friday.

Wholesalers usually deliver to the shops the following day (today) providing they arrived before a certain time yesterday. So, if it isn’t where you’d expect to find it today – it will be there on Monday. Postal copies were posted on Friday, so should be with their recipients on Monday too!

I’m going to be putting effort into trying to ensure Kit Car is on-time in future.

Sorry folks!

Den.

PS. Did you notice that Which Kit is back to 132 pages and contains all the same drivel as the issues before? MK again. Detail Dean’s Ultima again. Donnington show news again and wait for it – three mentions of the monty Python (again).

Den,
sounds like you should find a better printing firm who will bind it on time, funnily enough I happen to work for a large reliable Printers, could do with printing something interesting. Weve got our own readers Too! Might be able to find it in the Norwich Area then, as I havent seen it for 2 years now, despite asking numerous newsagents,

I'm hoping to see it in the Cornish shops tomorrow.

Then again if it's late out I might be pushing my luck

Phil,
Our printers don’t often let us down. It’s usually our fault.
I liked your build story – would you like it published?

Ex-Biker,
My postal copy arrived this morning.
It should be in all shops (even in Cornwall) today.

Den.

Not this morning.

My own fault I suppose. I should have subscribed last month.

BTW are you still looking for Poly bag printing?
