Er, wasn't the XTR always a kit? Also, don't forget that to that £6999 you have to add engine, bodywork, wheels, so you're looking at the other side of £20k for a realistic kit price really...

Still, fantastic car though!

That list doesn't seem to include steering, either

Also IIRC add another grand if you want reverse

If on a tight budget you can save £1000 by carefully cutting a couple of holes in the floorpan, just big enough to get your shoes through, walk backwards and hey presto! instant reverse

You may sometimes get a little wet, but a thousand quid will buy you quite a few pairs of waterproof overtrousers!

Or why not save the £6,999 by going straight for the bodywork and a pair of braces?

Dick Dastardley (or is it Fred Flintstone?)
BTW Supersixfan, I thought you’d changed you tag.

I had, but we have five different computers networked together in our house and I must have to reset my profile on all of them individually

Has the Mk actually passed the SVA yet? Their website doesn't mention it and all the pictures are not SVA'd cars. I would like to see a picture of the final road legal car.
