One of the reasons that Kit Car contains too many typo's is because we're always chasing our tails. The artwork being completed minutes before it's required by the printer.

Loads of people suggested that they'd be willing to help out by proof reading, so I thought I'd take you up on those kind offers.

There are about 12 features in each issue, so I thought that around 6 of you proofing 2 articles each would make relatively light work for relatively few people.

Volunteers by e-mail please. Acrobat proof copies should be arriving tomorrow. Results back to me by e-mail and you could point out any funnies on here and even review the articles if you want.

How about looking for the red squiggly line underneath the words whilst writing it in Word.

Thanks for the advice, traction.
It evidently doesn’t work though .
Nigh and Neigh don’t bring up a red squiggly line
Anyway, I thought that a few PistonHeads would enjoy doing Microsoft out of a job

Brilliant,
Thanks all!
I’ve signed up 8 or 9 poof reeders so far.

However tombs is worried! He thinks he’ll be out of a job and is worried about industrial espionage. He imagines that my distributing copies of Kit Car about 2 weeks prior to sale might cause loss of sales and more worryingly the thought of espionage entered his sad mind. I think he imagines Fib’s signing-up to get his hands on Kit Car’s hottest news!

I’ve reassured him that you’re an honest bunch .

I've just e-mailed articles to 9 proof readers.

If you haven't recieced such an e-mail then I've probably lost your request.

Drop me a line and I'll drop you some reading material.

Alan (supersixfan), you've obviously qualified!

I did send you three articles. Honest!

But I've since had another go!

Den, YHM, my suggestions only one problem. Now that I've read the articles it means I won't needto read them unless I look for any changes

Spartan Andy,
Tombs was right when he said my sending proofs now would cost sales later.
Well, I can live with that!
I hope you enjoyed reading them.
Anybody want more?
Finally, who asked for the SVA article? I’m snowed under with the sheer number of e-mails.
