Here is the first of our string of "get back to the job in hand" posts.

Fnaly nearing the home stretch on the Phantom!

At the moment I have a pair of Recaro's out of a Rover Vitesse but, they do not tip forward and they are a Fraction too wide making recling a pain. I fancy some S3 seats (as my interior will ne peacock blue/black) but has anyone any other suggestions for affordable/flash seats that would fit and tip. Can be re-covered in the next few weeks when I get it trimmed out.

Or has anyone got some proprietory seats to sell?

I don't suppose Richfield would be any help? I think they used to make the tipping seats for cars like the Ginetta G31. I tried one recently and despite the seats being quite old now they were pretty comfortable.

I'm going ot fit some Recaro Speed seats in my Libra, I'm sure one of the Phantom demo cars had these fitted...

Good to see you getting back into it. Any sign of a wiring loom yet...?

As for the seats, Cobra do a tilt/recline sports seat called the Sidewinder, which you can get in a blue centre/black outer trim combo.

Sparco do one called the Torino, which is available in a blue/grey combo. Corbeau make seats called Targa and Carrera, which are also available in blue, though not sure if they have a tilt forward mechanism.

Best to have a word with Demon Tweeks (tel [phone] or see www.demon-tweeks.co.uk) as they sell all of the above.
