Insurance is crazy!

Have you tried Backford Bloor
They are normally pretty good (although I couldn't say whether they favour young drivers or not.
Have you gone through a list of insurance companies? Go through each insurance company listed under the 'Support Services' section of Madabout-kitcars.com. I'm sure one of them will favour you, (although TBH £1500 for a 19 year old to insure a Locoblade is probably pretty good. Sad state of affairs but probably pretty good.
Cheers, John

Well I pay £190 fully comp with HHH for a two litre tuned Tiger Supersix, which I suppose is pretty good, (mind you, I am old enough to be Den's grandad)

I was told of a guy who was 31 year old who lives in a quiet part of the country (farmer) full no claims never had an acident or claim. the vehicle was a toyota hilux on approx X reg 2000 ish modle just a bog standard pick up he tryed 27 companys and only one would touch him and the sentance was £9000. YES NINE THOUSAND. Who are the idiots here thousands of d-ck heads fly around with no insurance every day most don`t get court while others cause a crash we end up loosing out the other party gets off with it but the car he was driving was either a £60 skip on wheels or it was nicked, and besides the law seem to be on there side anyway cause if they catch them, they give the law lots of chew and they just want an easy life, so we will just have to carry on working spending our hard earned cash on our insuranse companys..nuff sed..
They proberbly think that you might go shopping and put some bags and items in the back of your 406 which is just crazy. If you said that you have got it to fill the rear space up with a stereo from your house or to carry your mates around with you as you can fit ten in the 406 rather than eight in the old fiesta it might of been a lump cheeper.. But on the other hand my mate has just bought a pulsar gtir with £25000+ worth of recipts its had lots of trick things on it as it was a show car. He is 24 yrs old no claims or anything very carful driver £530 fully comp where do the insurers get there figures from...how about a few people putting there car, county, age and quote down so we can see the diffrence and try to understand how they manage it...
