Caterham R400 options
Discussion
I've just ordered a Caterham R400 and was wondering from others with expierance what options are felt to be essential or desirable?
Currently the spec reads....
R400
Aztec Orange
Magnesium wheels
Windscreen
Heater
FIA Roll bar, body colour
Battery Master switch
Armourfend rear wings
Kevlar seats
Honeycomb floor protection
Starter button
Carpet set
Given the plethora of unofficial Caterham options there must be something I've forgotten.

Congratulations - fantastic choice of hooligan toy.
How do you plan to use it most - track, road? This will to a certain extent dictate your options list.
Oh and post the question on www.blatchat.com where you'll get a wide variety of informed responses!

For track days it'd be great, but what about bits hitting you on the road?
Obviously this is a danger; I guess the level of risk depends upon the proportion of time you will drive it on the road.
I too have both an aeroscreen and full windscreen, but I've never put the windscreen on. I always wear eye protection when on the road and (perhaps luckily) haven't sustained any injuries yet. There is always the option of a full face helmet for your road sorties.
You also tend to rapidly learn defensive road positioning to minimise the volume of stuff landing in the cockpit.

Probably best to go on www.blatchat.com which is where most of the Caterham fans frequent.
