R500 kicks ass.... again!

Best you all read AUTOCAR this week as they have done the 0-100-0 test again and the R500 broke the record again for a standard production car......

Bloody impressive car.


If only they did those A032R/A048R's for the rear of my car!

They also tested a GD Lola, cobra (both replica's), R300, XTR2 and an Ultima, so we had good representation.

I probably dreamed it but didn't Avon do the ACB10's in large sizes?

I've found a US supplier that sells the A032R's for my car...... 315/35/17 Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Ultimandy I believe that the test was done on Avon CR500's.

Yep, both the R500 and R400 were on Avon CR500 tyres.

I test drove the R400 a couple of days after Autocar had it.

my good friend built the engine that was in the R500 they used......R500 DUO. He works for minister power who build the std K series engines and tune up the others.

It's an absolutely astonishing car, and in the coming yrs I will without doubt own one !!!
