Tell the designers what you think of their 21st century sportscar

i suppose the cockpit divider is for chassis rigidity.
maybe you could mount an airbag on it so the occupants heads don't crack together like coconuts in an accident? it would sprout out of that center railing in an accident.
no roll over protection, that should be a given in a 21 st century interpretation of the 7.
these guys just don't like pedestrians i guess, the front looks like it would do a nice julliene job of any poor bastard that gets hit.
oh, and it looks like a boat from the 50's.

Out of all the concepts, this has to be the best. It's simple, has clean lines, & looks like a cross between a speedboat and a missile, - HOWEVER, surely all these concepts are missing the point. You should't start off styling a car whos main perpouse is to be a modern lotus 7 (ie cheap & quick). The concept should be to start off by getting an engine, and then find out the cheapest and lightest way to attach a place for the driver/passenger to sit, then some wheels, and finally a little bodywork should be added, but only what is neccacery.
If you start adding all these Faux grills, and un-neccacary bits of body-work you will end up with a car that is unfaithful to the concept by being styled to look as if it would go fast, as opposed to being engeered to go as fast as possible (ie Lotus 7) and not sacrifising performance and cost on styling.
