Has anyone got a left Westfield cycle wing and bracket for a Seight (to fit 205 width tyres) they would like to part with for money? Or does anyone know any suppliers apart from Westfield? Had a mishap at the weekend involving something jamming under the wheel arch and shearing the bracket - that was of course right before the weather got really, really nice......

I think the Westfield ones are all the same and other companies make different ones.

What uprights do you have.

I got my brackets from Tiger Racing - 01733 271131

I've got a set of Tiger ones which I didn't use on my car. You're welcome to them. I made some up from 5mm x 35mm black mild steel bent in the vice. So far they seem to do the job.

Thanks very much Tigerk.

I ended up getting the Westfield part at 35 quid. Tried fitting it last night and found it didn't quite go, until I used some muscle on it to bend the bracket so there was more than a couple of mil clearence between the bracket upright and the tyre. Plus the cross struts seem to be in a different place from the one I've taken off, so the pairs of holes front and back in the actual wing are too far apart to bolt into the bracket. I'll have to find some extension to make it work. Ho hum.

My tyres are 185/60/14 too, but I couldn't get the brackets supplied to fit properly, hence made my own. Since posting I've emptied my scrap metal bin over the weekend and guess what went to the scrap man? Sorry!

I'd be glad to assist in making some though, whereabouts are you?
