That looks really nice. The lines of the front wheelarch seem to flow into the slope from front to back much better than before.

Go for it!

well, here is the first thing i muttered to my self when the picture popped up on my screen- "F@#k me!"
that is very nice, i really hope you can pull it off!
i really cant say anything negative about the body work from that view, but i think it will benifit from twin hoop roll bars.

Good luck!

Russ.

Wow - it looks great!

The tweaked design takes the look of the car to a whole new level. Will it be easy for you to make the mods to the car?

Oh no don't pick on my website now....

Joking.., cheers....

It's seems this new idea, although not far removed from the basic concept, is far better received....

Wow, what a difference those sides make! I think youd have to do some strengthening around the back of the front wheel arches with that size hole cut out!

So far, on this prototype the running gear is all MR2, but will offer other ex.FWD options....Target price in the UK. is around 6k basic kit.

Basic concept is a trackable street car, not totally practical of course, but street legal. (seven idea, if not looks)

YES! superb, a curvier version of the current basic shape, looks lovely. It'll be a huge amount of work, but definately worth the effort - looks about ten years younger now IMHO with more modern styling. Out of ten I will now give it 9 until I see what it looks like with lights/painted.

OK, minor update.

The guy in California (Cliff Iwai.....remember you heard it here) has agreed to help out more with the restyle. I will post more of his ideas when I get them.

Thanks for all the positive feedback so far.

Please do, I'll look forward to the next installment! It has been fascinating to follow progress.

Just a thought on the roll bar - how about housing it in some sort of aerodynamic moulding so it looks a bit more integrated? The sides could be sort of buttressed (if that's the right term? ). A bit like the ones on the Coram LMP and other similar cars.

Chris

Edited cos aerodyanic ain't a word!

Chris, yes I'll probably end up doing something like that....perhaps doubling up with another bar at an angle and then having a fairing over them....

Thanks for the input...
