A Yokohama A021R in that size is ~£30 + vat.
Thoroughly decent tyre for all weather use - allegedly the same compound rubber as an A032R, just more tread.
Doesn't meet your requirement for a sexy tread very well, but is a damn good tyre.

I second this choice you can't beat the Yoko 021R's unless you go for 185/60/13 then you can get Yoko 032R's.

175/60/13's A048R's are a superb tyre, but the wear rate is phenominal! Beware that this tyre is not on list A1 though.

Cheers,

They are for a Panther kallista (stop smirking! and I was originally thinking more about normal road tyres, So it had not crossed my mind to go down that road.

But, Yep, Yokohama A021R's are a great tyre...

Thet wear quickly, but the car is not doing that many miles so why no get some decent tyres like them instead?

I saw a panther with minilites on and it really suited the car, so all i have to do is find a somewhere that stocks them in that size (see my new thread)

A021's have a SIMILAR compond to "S" 032's. My view is that I'd rather have a tyre with a good deep tread for our "variable" Scottish weather.MoJo.
