Waterproof cover for westfield
Discussion
Does anyone know what the Halfords ones are like? They do a Tyvek cover for 59.99 I think, but I don't know what it's like. I have to buy one soon so I too was wondering if there were any well known brands which do a quality outdoor cover? Links below.

I was wondering whether to park the car on a plastic groundsheet to stop water evaporating from the ground into the cover, or condensing under the car. There should still be ventilation under the car because the cover will not go to the ground, and the cover should be breathable too. Halfords do an extra large tarpaulin which could be used for this at 9 quid, although you can probably get them cheaper from elsewhere, such as an agricultural supplies shop. This seems to be the only one big enough to fit the car onto, as it is 3.7m long.

I bought the Tyvek cover for my MR2 and was less than impressed. everytime I used it the paintwork got covered in fine scratches and some kind of greasy substance that was hard to remove. After using it twice and having to thoroughly T-Cut the whole car each time to remove the scratches I stopped using it.
I'm currently using a Tyvek cover, and all seems well. I have to be careful when putting it on to ensure that the dirty parts which go around the wheels don't touch the paintwork. But I haven't seen any scratches or grease yet - early days though. Had plenty of use for it in the last week or two since it has rained every time I've even thought about taking the car out.
