Im starting my cobra build next month after many false starts, and although Im not bothered by the price, someone asked, and I didnt know the answer! ::

When its finished and cost you £15,000 to build - whats its resale value?

Depends on all sorts.

How well it's made, which kit, what engine, does it look right (seen some with normal alloys that look sh1te!) etc.

Have a look at www.hallmark-cars.com for an indication of value.

Im going for a DAX cobra, in blue with a white stripe (predictable, but I like it)

and I have just got a wopping bonus, so the 2.0 sierra is out, and I think the 5.7 chevvy is in!!

not a penny spent yet, still in the planning/emptying garage/flicking thru kit car mags stage so if Im making a bad choice, shout now!

Good choice - mine's a Dax too. You won't regret it!

Mine's Rover engined, but tuned a little. Chevy is a great choice too. My theory is the lighter Rover engine makes for better handling (when I eventually get it really sorted) but a Chevy engined car will win for sheer grunt and sound every time, especially if you tune it (and it would be rude not too )

Don't seem to be many other Cobra owners on here so please keep posting as you finalise spec and get into the build. If I can give any advice let me know.
