... deflector !

If I remember rightly, you were going to get a (cheaper than Westfields own) wind deflector and rip off yer windscreen.

Ever do it ?

MY WIND!!!!

Yes I did buy it (£80) it's fabulous, easy to fit, with some persuasion using a heat gun it'll fit nicely on a narrow bodied scuttle, very well made and looks like it'll actually work at deflecting the wind over your head unlike westfields own bulky 2 piece jobby. When the car is all done I'll get some pictures of it on, but for now you can see it at Tim Duncan's Website where you can buy one from the for sale bit.

Hope this helps and you get your wind sorted

Weeeell ... it wouldn't let me fit the word "deflector" onto the title, too long, honest

Cheers Graham

No worries,

If you do opt for a Tim Duncan one then he will include in depth instructions for fitting

He's had a few for Narrow Bodied cars IIRC, a couple chose to do a cut and shut to make it fit and others chose to heat and bend, I think the latter is the better option to be honest.

Regards,

Graham

Sorry Moom,

All is explained on Tim's site about the deflection of air......I think. Really it was the justification of £80 or £250

Wasn't your's a bit of a pig to fit?

oh yeah it's a bitch to fit, but works quite well once you have sussed it. as ever with the world of Westfield, they could make it much easier but they don't. still it's the little things...
