Nearing the time when I need to get the car trimmed properly, so, has anyone anything good to say about any shops I may use. I would prefer midlands based but I have a trailer so could go further.
I need a full leather/alcantara trimout including re-covering the Recaro seats and stictching in some logo's.
Any help appreciated.

Have you asked Phantom who they use? The red car I photographed for Pistonheads has a very nicely done red and cream leather interior, so whoever did it seems to know their stuff.

Graham, I was going to use the same guys but, on the advice of Norman and Chris thay said that they are both very expensive and not that brilliant.
I was budgeting about £3k, the estimates for the red car are over £5k (not including seats which were Aston Martin).
Not that it was the trimshop mind, but I want a much more overtly sporting interior with Black leather/ Black Alcantara and Peacock Blue Alcantara as per Audi S3? What do you think?

Always fancied a Phantom in blue with a blue and black interior, so what you're proposing sounds good to me!

As for finding someone to do it, have you checked out the ads in the classic car mags? They always have upholsterers listed.

Look forward to seeing your car when it's finished.

hope you don't take offence at a commercial type post - better than leaving the question unanswered...?

Auto-marine interiors in Hinckley (your neck of the woods) did a stunning alcantara job on my Libra interior, complete with quilted roof panel etc. They also do the factory Nobles (being next door to the Noble factory probably helps). I'll dig out the number if you want.
Chris.

Thanks for that Chris,
I've a friend at PTP in Hinckley who could take the car up for me as well so that could work out well. He should also know the number or even a contact there so I should be OK. Cheers Nick

Hi,

I'm looking for a trim shop in the north west. I want my Elise seats re-trimmed in leather with a bit more padding. Any recommendations?

Cheers,
Rob.

Yea,... I could do with finding a trim shop in the northwest too.
My bolster has split.
