Which Aerial?

Could anyone tell me the best type of Radio Aerial for me to get for the kit, as its a fiberglass body with little or no ground plane type metal in the roof area?

Those Triangular wire ones work exceptionaly well, never seen one for sale though, although I saw someone hang a coat on one the other day! Things some people do, really!

thats the type I'm aiming for eventually, but I need to fit a base to insert it in!

You could also use an old fridge tray/grid or barbeque (sp) grid as a ground plane. And the chasis.

Go to halfords and buy one of the 'in-car' aerials which can mount either on the dashboard, top of the windscreen, rear window, it's up to you.

Hey Graham, are those like the indoor TV ariels? I never managed to get a decent picture with those, and wouldn't they get in the way on the dash?

Yer the ones with the 4 massive suckers on the bottom that you get your younger sibling to walk around with untill you get a decent picture.........not that I've ever done that of course I don't have a younger sibling.....I used someone elses!
