Go for specialist Kit car insuraers not main steam as they come up with silly money. I used Adrian S Flux Years ago and they were good (don't know what they are like now). Best advice is look in kit car mags or this link may help:

All the above deal with Kit-Cars and will know what you are talking about. Standard insurers haven't a clue what to do with them.
I'm with Egger Lawson and it costs me £200 to insure a Westfield SE Cosworth. That's limited milage and as a second car but it is fully comp. I'm over 30 but TBH it wasn't that much more beforehand. My brothers Westfied SEW XE cost him £180!
