ZZR1400 or S2000 powered Kit Car
Discussion
Hi All,
Looking at buying a used car, budget up to £15k ish (7 type).
Have been doing lots of reading, want something NA and 200hp+.
I really like the idea of ZZR1400 and S2000 power of which there are few out there.
Looking for experience or knowledge on what will be/feel faster on road and track.
Obviously S2000 is 240hp and manual box, ZZR is 200hp and sequential, but lighter.
I am sure the S2000 will be easier to live with on the road but not as engaging on the track?
Input welcome.

From a purely engine perspective I would guess that the honda fc20 would be easier to live with. Less maintenance and probably stronger die to being designed to propel over a tone of car.
But I would look for a k20 engine. The fc is now old tech and parts/engines are getting very expensive.
If you want a proper motor a k24 bottom end with a k20 head will out perform a fc20 everywhere and cost half as much to build if your handy with tools.
