Hi, Anyone know what’s happened to the MEV Atomic? It was a single-seater, with the (bike) engine next to the driver, in the place where the passenger seat was.

I’d like to build one…

Cheers, Stu

You could try contacting Stuart Mills, https://mevkitcars.co.uk/ - He designed the car

They were being produced by SVE, they got the licence from Stuart - Can't find anything for them online (I know they have gone bankrupt and rebranded in the past - so they may still be floating around under another name)

I used to own one (had the only LHD chain driven car - In the UK) - They are great fun to drive, had to do a bit of work on the suspension joints as they would bind up. Also the diff mount wasn't amazing and would move under load (Chain drive specific issue)

Sadly there was only 7 ever registered on the road and the guy that has my old one wont sell it back to me

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.

I tried emailing Stuart at that address you quoted however it’s now administered by another Stewart (Mutch - I think) that picked up the MEV name and rights to produce the Exocet.

He suggested trying the MEV site and I’ve posted there too, although that seems pretty much dead now.

Sounds like you had a great time with the Atomic. A brilliant concept and unusual beast - perfect for me!

I saw one at Stoneleigh years ago and thought they looked amazing. Did you get anywhere trying to source a kit?
