Does anyone know if the locost forum still takes members?

I have tried to sign up but they have a verification text thing that looks like it no longer works, tried emailing the email address mentioned as well but heard nothing.

Unfortunately the Locost site is built on ancient technology and run by someone who has long since moved on from being active in the kit car community. I had the same issue as you and was able to reach the site admin (Chris) via the Locostbuilders Facebook page (“Locostbuilders”) and encouraged him to clear the backlog of member requests at the time. The site often gets hacked and we have to get hold of him by the same method.

The guy who runs it has shifted away from Locosts in terms of his personal interests and has a lot of other commitments, so it's not well maintained or very responsively moderated these days.

Traffic has also died off massively since its heyday, but that probably goes without saying, given the state of the UK kit car industry (and same goes for this sub-forum, on PistonHeads).

Thanks for that, will take a look. No joy on the uk one unfortunately.
