Westfield 2ltr Pinto SE Wide - Front Brake Calipers
Discussion
Hi - a very long long time ago (in a galaxy far far away.....) - My father and I build a westfield SE wide - 2Ltr Pinto
well to cut a long story short - i have lost the original build manual - and for the life of me - i cant remember what brake calipers were fitted (and front uprights)...
Yesterday the front L/H caliper failed.....
The car was completed around Yr 2000
I think the front calipers and uprights were off a ford Cortina / Escort / Capri?
Does anyone know / can they confirm this? - and what a decent new caliper would be?
Thanks in advance - and sorry for the dumb question !
Cheers

A photo would help to confirm, but although there are other options, most likely would be Mk3 Cortina uprights and brakes, so Girling M16 calipers. Rally Design sell copies, Big Red will refurb your old ones or probably sell you exchange units. Parts available for DIY as well if you are so inclined.
