Looks kind of interesting. What are they like to build? Are there a lot of bits you need to get extra? The website is a little vague on specifics.

your link does not work or is not complete?
an older type 65 from F5 are light and well more race then road with fixed side windows or no side windows.
it seems that their latest F5 type 65 also come with wind down side windows... and better interior, yes also a bit heavier I guess.
personally I would choose for a Superformance Daytona coupe for road use mostly, but heviger, but also easier to live with I think.
never driven one though :-) but always curious about them! would want one if I can get is as a 65 year as first registering in the netherlands.

What sort of money is the Superformance one? I don't know about the Factory Five, but their site says £24,000 for the kit. Not 100% sure what else would be needed (engine, gearbox, rear axle & paint). But it didn't sound crazy money.it seems that their latest F5 type 65 also come with wind down side windows... and better interior, yes also a bit heavier I guess.

ah your looking for the kit, could be that cheap without engine and so on.
a Superformance is more expensive and I do not know if you still get them as a kit, I think not anymore.
But ready (second hand) cars in the US is mostly 120k plus... so those 2 for sale (a short while ago) in the UK are 'cheap' ish.
if they were not RHD I would be very interested :-)
there are 2 RHD Superformance for sale, one for not much, around 75k if you know that the same in LHD in Germany kost 150-160k then you know, those 2 Superformance in the UK are 'cheap' most Superformance are Licensed, so can give them some extra credit and then you have some very expensive sorts continuations, which look the same, but twice the price and official documents in the Shelby register or something like that (forgot)

Dax makes a Daytona coupe kit also.
I think it is a British compagny so non or less shipping.
This kit comes whiteout an engine and gearbox.
Be prepared to do A lot of wrenching, and building.
I know somebody who is in his fifth year of building.
From searching an engine to finding a painter
