Any ideas what this kit car might be and can i sell it
Discussion
Does anyone know what this kit car might be please ? It fibreglass and in 3 pieces.
My dad bought it years ago and its been sat for years - sadly a project he never got to finish - or start !
Also any ideas if it would be something that i might be able to sell or is it just a stretch too far ??!
Thanks in advance

No clue what it is; can't think of any reason why you couldn't sell it. Might be worth lifting the bonnet and having a good look around the bulkhead and panels to see if you can find a manufacturers nameplate or similar.
It doesn't look as if it has a chassis, just GRP body panels so that might limit your market a bit.
You could try advertising it in one of the kit car magazines.

It's an RW Karma
(Companies other than RW may have manufactured it.)
Dino lookalike, rather than a replica and based on a Beetle floorpan. They were quite popular back in the day.
It does look pretty far gone, but it's difficult to tell from the one picture - I've seen stranger things up on ebay!!
OP/Mods - this would get a better response over in the Kit Car section if you move it / re-post.
[Edited to add: Mods beat me to it!]

Definitely an RW Karma. I just wanted to add that they used either a VW floor plan or a backbone chassis that could be mid- or front-engined. There were also two designs of rear window. Standard sloping for the VW-based car, or vertical for mid-eng8ned to allow a separate engine cover.

More information about mine from http://karma.tribbeck.com/
Although I would say that I modified the bonnet of mine to be more Dinoesque; that one is the original design, where the holes are much bigger, and in the wrong place.
Also, it looks like it's missing a large amount of stuff - like the inner door sills, windscreen pillars (might be hidden by the doors) and windscreen. Speaking of which, I believe it's a Ford Pinto windscreen (I cracked mine while rebuilding it, and bought one of Roger Wolley ("RW"), but I would imagine he's very much retired by now.
Indicator lenses I made some myself using a metal template and a diffuser from a striplight (I don't seem to have a picture of them - they looked pretty good).
You can sell anything I bought mine for £500 - but then it was pretty much complete. I'd be very surprised if it went for £20 though!
