Built up vehicle report, how long does it usually take?

How long does the V627/1 normally take to come back from the DVLA?
I'm building sand rail on a 1303 beetle chassis with a bike engine. I should have retained enough points to keep the original reg number and for it to be classed as a radically modified vehicle.

I filled it in about 2 weeks ago..

Currently DVLA are massively delayed and have a huge backlog of anything involving paperwork. Online stuff is still pretty quick. Delays seem to range from weeks to months. Hopefully they will have full staff strength soon so you actually stand a chance of getting into contact by phone - currently you've got no chance of getting them on the blower.
