BEC builders around Northants or Mids ?
Discussion
Just wondering if I should seek some pro assistance, following my "BEC" formula ford (CBR11) which has some jobs to do, not immense but a few.
There is a helpful guy who has helped me start some jobs, but hes a good mile away and was going to originally use AB originally in Norflok who sadly shut
They apparently now continued under guise of MK cars but those guys are busy until Sept and thinking maybe I can get some work done in meanwhile even and perhaps even closer to me.
Anyone recommend any please ?
This is generally the completion list I am looking at.
Cooling work ( consideration for cooling of CBR1100 vs the original FF rads design).
Tuning
Trimming some carbon to fit dash
Brakes refreshed/setup and replacing car ones at the back. Yes car calipers.
Fit bodywork ( have original RF86 panels but car is a little nonstandard and need tweaks)
etc
Not sure if these guys could help. They have a rolling road so the tuning is covered. Last time I was there they were working on a road going BEC.
They are in Uppingham.

O/T Slightly, but anyone know what happened to AB Performance ?
Didnt he get a Dragons Den investment to build a BEC Racecar for production ?
Back in my Fury days, he was the go to guy after Kitcar Workshop sadly shut.

Unfortunately due to this current situation he has packed it in, you can read some details somewhere on social media.
They have not gone though, effectively as I understand MK cars have "become" AB and handling all ongoing.
