Hi all. I hope you are well. Does anyone know of a company that does a low profile sump for an St 170, rear wheel drive? Cheers

I would try either Dunnell or Raceline - best places for Ford engine modified parts in my experience.

Cheapest Scholar http://www.scholarengines.com/
I got mine from them. Just phone or email. Don't forget the modified pick up pipe.

My internet findings (the place you go to for serious information when you don't have an idea, as only knowledgeable people reply - so the advice is always sound) the St170 is the same fit as the blacktop Zetec.
I have fitted my sump to both silver & blacktop over the years.

Or I may be tempted to sell my dry sump & kit...

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies everyone, a lowered sump came with my 1800 zetec, I was trying to see if it would fit the st block, but I left the old st gasket on, it was only when I realised I should be using the 1800 gasket that I had a sump that fitted. The contact numbers will be very useful. Thanks.

Needed to add that my original sump & the Scholar are modified originals. Whilst the Raceline & Retroford are custom made. Hence money over style.
