Currently building a Rocket 2 and looking to get some custom parts made. I have designed a new engine mount plate to correct an alignment issue with my build and looking for someone to make it if I send them the design I made on Fusion 360.
Nothing complicated, just a flat aluminium plate with some holes in.
I have seen a couple of these places advertised that will quote and make parts from drawings but want the feedback of the PH massive who may have had this done and can recommend anyone who can do it and post the part to me?

Cheers

If it's simply sheet/plate profile with some holes in then any reputable laser or water jet cutting company will do it no bother. They will require a 2D DXF file. Tolerances are pretty good. The company I use (HBH Laser) are +/- 0.15mm IIRC.

They can do any folding required too. If it needs tapped holes or counter bores they can probably do this too, but I've only used them for cutting to date.

I'm more looking for machining components rather than sheet metal work but thanks anyway.

In which case I can recommend Martema UAB in Lithuania (which I used to get a bunch of wheel adaptors made)

or Hawkins Engineering in Wellingborough, who I used to get some engine adaptor kits made (register plates and crank-flywheel adaptors)
