I have just taken ownership of an IRS lightweight Fury chassis which has fabricated front uprights with radial caliper mounts that are neither modified Escort or Sierra struts and I'm wondering what disks and calipers these were designed for.

The current plan for the car is track only with a mild boost Nissan CA18DET giving around 200Hp at the wheels, I know this engine is capable of this with daily driver reliability my sons has a CA18 running 35PSI delivering just over 600HP at the hubs and spinning to 9500 and yes it's a hand grenade but has now been reliably for well over 12 months

Also who if anyone is now manufacturing the Fury now.

Dont think the Fury is still in manufacture tbh. Last people I think owned it were the gearbox guys down in Kent.

Andy Bates is porbablyy the best person to speak to.

I was about to refer you there. I've also got the same chassis as you but probably don't know enough about the car to help that much.

I've been chatting with Andy on FB and the uprights I have are unfamiliar to him but they exist in at least one other Fury here in Oz

Not had one, but have a westfield, bought from a fury owner.

Lovely looking cars which can be setup to drive very well as far as I am told.

Glad to see it looks like they might be being produced again.

Post a pic up and maybe someone can help.

Or call Steve at Fury sports cars, but probably best faceache message as he's not great at running for the phone.

Also if its a lightweight chassis and its been used on the road look out for the mounting points ripping off.

Some years ago, some lightweight chassis made it onto the road. The road is NOT the place for this chassis. I have witnessed mounting points being ripped off due to a number of factors.

No fully relevant to a track car, but I have just found this article.
