transplanting Jag AJ30 V6
Discussion
Hi
although not strictly a kit car, the mods I've done to my 1988 TVR S1 are so similar to fitting a 3.0 Jag engine and box into most other Kit Cars
I fitted an Emerald ecu, junked the Jag inlet in favour of a simpler Alpha inlet along with it's fly-by-wire Throttle Body
Also removed the water pump and fitted an electric one - Pierberg (all BMW 6cyl cars use this since 2000)
Chassis now allows the exhaust to be at the same height and not hanging down.
Rear disc conversion and AP4 pots up front
If the link does not work then check out the TVR S Series page on here - Cossy sold and Jag bought

I also use this engine in my noble... in case you plan further mods, the best inlet appears to be the ST200 one modified to fit the plastic Jag one. The bottom of the upper is machined off and a 15mm spacer fitted to take it to the Jag lower but its a fairly cheap mod and is probably the best looking OEM style manifold on these engines.
With this on a stock engine they get just over 280bhp, it outperformed the engines running ITB's and is a whole load cheaper!
