Ratchet handbrake lever
Discussion
Trying to get hold of a basic ratchet handbrake lever that has fixing bolts running horizontally.
The Car Builder Solution item (shown below) is perfect except for the mounting bolts being vertically fixed.
It's needs to be mounted to the right side of the tunnel so brackets need to be offset to the left.
Anyone got an idea of who can supply one?
I really don't want to start cutting and welding new brackets on a fully powder coated and panelled chassis just to fit a handbrake!

When I built my GTM Libra I used the lever from a Metro. That was mounted on two tabs. The front one was bent to the right, and the rear one bent to the left. If you straightened the front one downwards, it would then sit on the right side of a tunnel.
I've just googled pictures for metro handbrake lever and it looks as if the later ones had vertical mounts, so they would bolt onto the side of the tunnel directly.
