Lift kit for a Porsche 996 (modified)
Discussion
Hi
I’m not sure if you’d call this a kit car or not. It started life as a 02 911 996 Porsche. Commonly considered the ugliest Porsche ever made. The kit is a 2016 GT3rs. In my opinion one of the prettiest!!! It’s not anything like exact but close enough for me. The Porsche people hate it but i think it looks cool and i could never afford the real deal.
Anyway, my issue is its really low and i struggle getting it on and off the drive or over a speed hump without scratching the front. I found a company that make a lift kit but only for the newer 997.
I’d really like to add a lift kit to the car but can’t find one. Does anyone have a solution to my problem? Any advice would be very welcome.

Personally I love the 996, my favourite of the water-cooled. But I like an underdog! I think it’s the wider red reflector on the C4S that I like.
Anyway, can you not just fit coilovers and set them slightly higher? Plenty to go at, I nearly bought a 996 last year so was researching them.
Or as above, you can bag anything really.
