Paddle shift swap?

Hi guys. I'm new to the kit car world but loving every minute, I've recently bought what I believe is a mk indy r with a zx9r engine. It has paddle gears but I cant get away with them. Already blew one engine up by going into the wrong gear so I'm looking to swap for stick shift if anyone is interested and wants to go from stick to paddles. Let me know.
