Clearly the Caterham is the greatest car ever made, we expect it will do well over a hundred seventy miles an hour, and they are known for there comfort, and lack of leaks. We must buy one immediately, they are soooo amazing. Oh we must buy and trailer and proper car to tow it with. Because as soon as you sit in one its time to get out again.

S&M The worlds biggest Caterham fans.

Er, perhaps the large "0-100-0" caption misled you into thinking this was a test to see which car can do 170mph without leaking over its leather seats?

The rest of the population sort of got it though.

I'd have the pagani, at least it has the looks, comfort etc. to go with the performance.

Just a bugger it cost 10 times as much.

Guess I stick with my Ultima which only has 10bhp per ton more than the R500.

Incidently the Dax has over 700Bhp per ton, I think there is no contest!

Well, will an R500 get to 180mph in 12 seconds?

And does an R500 idle like a 12litre V8!

and does an R500 have a power to weight ratio of 1:1??

I don't care if it's a replica, it looks and sounds the dogs conkers and goes like pig sh!t off a shiney shovel!

there is no way on earth that thing will do 250 mph young man! not a chance in hell! think about it for a second, the Le Mans Audi R8 can top 230 mph with all the mechanical and aerodynamic groundforce it can carry, but a bunch of germans can keep this thing on the floor at 250 mph!....please, tell me you are not serious!

I know I know, sorry, I meant 240mph, 250 is ridiculous! (I have fat fingers)

but look.......Top-Speed: 400 km/h

Now I don't know what that is but I know 300 km/h is 180mph, and 100 km/h is 60mph, so back to school 180+60=240!
