Car : Westie X flow 1600 highly tuned, incl twin 45 DCOEs

Situation : when driven very hard, I get MASSIVE flames coming out of the exhaust on the over-run (i.e. blast down a straight, let off and brake for corner, WHUMP ! Quick fried rabbit on the verge ....)

Is this normal ?!?

Fair nuff Makes for a spectacular show though, especially at dusk and if the exhaust is super hot !

My brother in law (30 year old Essex boy with 17 year old mentality) has a Escort Cozzy .... his does the same thing, but that's only coz he's got a spark plug tapped into the back box, and a coil in the boot ....

Think I need to state that as a 30 year old Essex boy with a cossie, mine doesn't......usually!

My Ultima does though and with twin exhausts it looks excellent.......in a grown up way of course!
