Brake lights only work when..

Hi all

I have myself a Westfield, but have just noticed my brake lights aren't working. They only work when I press very hard on the peddle.

What did be causing this? Low brake fluid?

Hi it depends on how the switch is activated.

Pressure switch - plumbed in to the break lines. Just replace with new one they cost less than £10 you will have to bleed brakes after

Manual - fitted behind the pedal. These can be adjusted. Some have a piece you can pull out for adjustment

Go for the brake line rather than the break line.
