3mm hole in fuel tank

Guys I have an aluminium fuel tank, it has a 3mm hole with a self tapping screw with some kind of mastic over it as a stopper. I want to do the job better. Any ideas ?

There's only one way to do it properly, Ian. Remove the tank and get it welded up.

Yes agreed, no more bodging. Got it booked tomorrow at a local company.
