I have found Exo Sports Cars which have such cars as the Rocket and Exobusa as well as Trike versions with either R1 or Hayabusa power.

Are there any other similair manufacturers to them? They seem to be a spin off from MEV

I'm currently tempted to build an Exobusa and looking around they seem to be the only manufacturers of such a kit or have I missed others?

Not particularly into these types of cars but the engineering and fabrication looks very good on the DJC, impressed.

Does look good, quite quirky being a 3 seater but i'm looking for a more traditional 2 seater setup.

Why not ask if they could do a 2 seat version for you? The engineering and design of the DJC looks far superior to the MEV and the most "atom like" exo I've seen, rocker arm suspension etc ... not sure how the price compares though.. they are most likely targeting opposite ends of the exo kit car market.

I'm going to pop up to Exo Sports cars next week to have a closer look at the kits, i'm liking the bike engine format as I had a sevenalike years ago with a fireblade engine and want to re create a more bonkers version of that. Most of the other kits are based on the car engine. I could retrofit a busa in any of them I suppose but the Exobusa seems a more straight forward car to put together rather than messing around too much with converting a chassis for another powertrain. Sure some of the car engine versions may be faster when you consider the power you can get out of them but I want a 4 wheeled bike again biggrin
