A French company called Quelet Composites is now producing a replica Renault Alpine A110 based upon a Smart Roadster-Coupe' donor car.

It appears that the package is only available as a turn-key project... £15k plus your car, but the conversion retains the original monocoque and running gear and just basically replaces body panels etc. Therefore no IVA test required.

Limited information available, but they do have a facebook page Berlinette Smarlinette

They have a webpage as well, albeit in French. It's a lovely looking thing from the front, the proportions at the rear are slightly suspect and I have to wonder how you gain access to the engine with the new body fitted.

The A110 is a very small car inside but very pretty and an evocative shape

For 15 grand I'd want the wheels to fit in the arches. And suit the body shape.

There is a very limited choice of three stud wheels unfortunately. I suppose a four stud conversion would be the best solution.

looks good in those pictures on their website, combine that with a brabus engine, or a bike engine, smile fun?

It's just how I am, but IMO if you spend 15k on the conversion (plus a donor car?) you go the extra mile and spend another 2k on wheels, split rims from Image if no one else can help.
It draws my eye and is such a giveaway that it's a modern car with a body conversion that I'd have to get the wheel style and size sorted, or not do it at all.

Not sure how feasible a 4-stud conversion is, but it would impact brakes at least alongside hubs. And if doing knuckles and possibly wishbones, roll bars etc too, you'd definitely be cheaper getting split rims made.

Adapters are available to convert to 5 stud, though not too keen on them.
