I'm looking to find some information about this particular Mk6 Modsport driven by Angus Young and John Kirk in Scotland in the seventies with the Agra Engineering colors.
Any help will be very welcome.

"It was up for sale recently but in a poor state, it was pretty competitive in period from recollection Angus won the Scottish championship in class with it"

"When that photo was taken it was driven by Ian Wearden from Birmingham, he sold it to Mark Britt who pretty much destroyed it in an accident, not sure if it was repaired or not"

"NDR records shows the car as an unknown chassis number (see below)
Mk6: Modsports Car: ex-Agra?
: John Kirk
Angus Young
Nick Humphrey
Bill Cleyndert
EDWARD NEWMAN ( Issued C.No. DI6X001NDR but identified as a Mk5 by Tim Duffee).

The register list also lists separately:
Mk6
: Mr.& Mrs. Weardown
Alan Richie
Mark Britt
R.J.Morris (see note 15)
ANDREW MORRIS"

"As a follow up to my earlier comment, the Mark Britt car was pretty much destroyed in an accident at the Wiscombe Hillclimb but was rebuilt as an open top car by R.J.Morris so the ex-Agra car is not this car."

Hi Matteo,

Did you get the cd of information that I sent over with the car? If not I can post a copy to you.

The first photo is not the John Kirk/Agra Davrian. The second photo is and I've not seen it before. I'll check and see if there is any history or contact details that I missed out.

Cheers
Ed

Out of interest why do a few Davrians end up in Italy ? Is there a particular race series that they can enter ?

Yes. In Italy with a Mk5 or Mk6 you can race in group 1 up to 1.600 and you colud be competitive.
