Good soft top Vinyl window restorer/polish needed
Discussion
Hello,
Having got my Westfield on the road over 25 years ago the side screens have become a bit scratched/opaque. Not so bad during the day but a bit worrying at night.
Can anyone recommend a good soft top Vinyl window restorer/polish ? Some people in internet land recommend Pledge, others say don't. I assume that may be due to possibly slightly different Vinyl compounds or environment giving different results.

Plexus spray polish. It's designed to work with plastics, and it has no ammonia compounds which turn clear screens yellow.
Not cheap stuff, but I found that it just works really well.

I'd be very interested in how well it works - my Westfield sidescreens are a bit rough and I have a Z3 with a rear screen that could benefit from a polish too. I've found that polishes for plastics generally work only with hard materials like Perspex, but softer plastics like vinyl don't seem to polish well. Toothpaste has been suggested on the BMW forum.
