Rover P76 engine
Discussion
Has anyone got any experience of this engine its pros and cons?
My ozzie mate was talking about them the other day, he reckons they would be a pretty mad engine to have in a kit car, has anyone ever heard of this engine being used on these shores? Have found a bit of info on them on the web, but you cant beat a good old fashioned review from someone who has had hands-on experience

It's an old oddball jobby. I mean old! Nowadays you have nearly the same capacity from the later UK crossbolted engines which have had a lot of major improvements. I wouldn't use one unless it was really cheap or unless I was building a special. P76 has a taller block so none of the usual aftermarket manifolds will fit as the p76 V is wider and that's just a start with the problems you could have.
