I just wondered if anyone has experience of building an MNR Vortx and could estimate how long it took them to build?

Have you bought it yet , as I know they are doing revised bodywork which is easier to fit.
I have one on order, which is a RT plus with a 2ltr Zetec, obviously this takes a little longer to set up with all the rose joints.
I suggest you do as I have done & prepare all the other components before geting the kit which makes life easier.

cant really be much help regarding time, as ive only just ordered a vortx too. I know a fella who IS building one locally though which hes been doing since november. its a fair way off finishing, but hes got kids so doesnt have a great deal of time to work on it!
He has the original bodywork too that is a bit tricky to get right.
I can only assume the time would be comparable to your Indy's, strikers and other similar cars. Though what that is, I dont know! Im expecting about 6 months minimum for me, but that could be hugely optimistic as i've never done this before

I'm expecting to build mine in 2 months ( part time ) but have holidays for 2 weeks which will get in the way. My biggest task is the wiring as I have 3 looms to get integrated 1 MNR loom for lights etc,2 Engine loom for Emerald management & injection, 3 Digidash loom for dash & datalogging.
Good luck with your builds
