I have a mk2 Ford Escort based Rickman Ranger, and need a new servo - I'm thinking a Land Rover Defender servo (and if necessary a master cylinder) will be a suitable swap at a much better price! The present set up is the 'long tower' on the end of the pedal with Girling parts Has anyone any knowledge of such (I'm thinking fixing stud spacing etc). If necessary, I'm planning on buying a new servo and master cylinder if they'll fit on the tower (and in the available space), changing the rear push rod if necessary. It's also a tandem cylinder, but no issue to make up new pipes if a 'shape change' is needed, but they may well be 'moveable' to some extent.

OK- I'd have preferred if you'd contacted me before posting it though - as it is I've just sent a report to the moderator! My apologies as your interest seems innocent, but it appeared suspicious.... hence my action.

Apologies... it was innocent... just a rare car and a coincidence!

No problem. If you see it there again I'll probably be inside the cafe having a free cuppa, so do introduce yourself and we can have a chinwag about kits. I'll be the grey haired guy with glasses and (probably) wearing a 'complete kit cars' T shirt.
