If i was to buy a westfield sdv, is the chassis capable of taking a rover V8, i.e. I buy an SDV and when i get enough money, upgrade it in the future.

The chassis is completely different.You will need to state if it's a V8 or not at point of purchase.I think that the V8 car is only available as a rolling chassis with all the brakes,loom etc already fitted.The chassis is diferent in that the bellhousing on the V8 is huge in comparison to the 4 pot cars,so the tunnel is different.
