Hi all,

Is there such a thing as a cheaper aerial atom?

I am looking for a car with similar characteristics - mid engine, lightweight, nimble chassis - but without the price tag?

I am not after an aero type car (i.e radical etc), The atom feels more like a very nimble S1 Elise when driven on track and I enjoy that.

Does anyone know a more affordable alternative?

Thanks

Google is your friend.

On a slightly more helpful note - look at Stuart Mills designed vehicles.

Sonic, Rocket, ExoBusa, Atomic Etc. think these are all available through ExoSportsCars.

There is also the SDR Vstorm and the Asbo (not sure how many Asbos are in existence - possibly only a handful)

In theory, you can buy a Deronda in component form too, not sure they'd be cheap though!

Depending were you are in the world, the super lite cars nemesis is interesting, uses longitudinal Audi engine with transaxle, single seater looks very nice, budget bac mono.

Exo cars do a number of ex MeV models and have expanded the line up too.

Thanks chaps, bit of research needed.

Definitely looking for an n/a engine and no more than 200bhp.

Will have a good internet search and may well be back with questions smile

Budget - no more than £8-10k

www.midlana.com ?? I'm embarking on a build shortly. Got most of my donor parts sorted now, just need to finish tidying them up then get the steel ordered. I reckon mine will come out around £8k or so but confess I've not done a proper budget. Time will tell.....
