I NOTE ALL THE SAD REMARKS HERE ABOUT PEOPLE DOING MR2 KITS...THEY SEEM TO COME FROM ALL THE PEOPLE WHO NO DOUBT CANNOT AFFORD EVEN AN MR2 LET ALONE A KIT TO GO ON ONE EITHER..SO A REAL F355 IS OUT FOR THEM TOO!!!JELOUSLY IS A BAD THING ISNT IT...ALL YOU BUILDING A 355/MR2 GO AHEAD.AS SOME OF THEM CANNOT BE TOLD FROM REAL ONES IF YOU DO IT PROPERLY AND YES, THE INSURANCE IS ONLY £289..PROBABLY LESS THAN THE SAD COMPLAINERS PAY ON THEIR BOG STANDARD ESCORTS OR MONDEOS OR VECTRAS..THEY ARE JUST MIFFED BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE A CAR THAT LOOKS A MILLION DOLLARS FOR VERY LITTLE WHEN THEY HAVE A CAR THAT THEIR GRANDAD DRIVES..AND AS THEY PROB DONT HAVE THE SAVVY TO BUILD ONE IT MAKES THEM EVEN WORSE WITH THE ENVY BIT..AND ANYWAY, IF YOU CAN STAND A REAL ONE NEXT TO A WELL DONE REPLICA AND ACTUALLY GUAGE BY EYE THE DIFF OF A FEW INCHES THEN YOU MUST BE GOD...AS FOR HEIGHT ..WELL, YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT FERRARIS THEN EITHER AS WITH EVERY WHEEL CUSTOMISATION AND TYRE HEIGHT COMES DIFFERENT RIDE HEIGHT...HAVE YOU ALL GOT MOPEDS BY THE WAY OR PERHAPS CYCLES WITH LYCRA WEAR!!!!!AS FOR THE SPACERS.THEY ARE PERFECTLY ROAD LEGAL AND SAFE OTHERWISE AN MOT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE..ANOTHER ILL FOUNDED WISECRACK...SO FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT GOT £50K TO SPEND THEN AN MR2 IS A VERY SENSIBLE WAY TO OWN A DAMN NICE LOOKING CAR THAT HAS PERFORMANCE NEAR TO A 355(CHECK THE SPEC ON SERIES 2 TURBOS)..GO ON MAKE EM ALL JELOUS...AS YOU DONT WANT THE CAR FOR SPEED ITS THE LOOKS THAT GET EITHER THE ADMIRATION OR THE CATS MEOWWWWWWWWWWWW FROM ENVIOUS GITS.SO THEIR MAX POWER CRACKS SHOW HOW ENVIOUS THEY ARE OF YOU....OH BY THE WAY...I DONT OWN ONE SO THEY CANT REALLY HACK ME OFF EITHER!! I JUST HATE PEOPLE WHO SLAG OFF WHAT OTHERS GO TO THE BOTHER OF DOING FOR THEMSELVES...THATS BECAUSE THEY EITHER CANT OR DONT KNOW HOW TO

Hedge - I notice from your profile that you have 'recently joined' and that you do not detail much about yourself! Car? Age? Job? Likes/dislikes. I have also read ALL 4 of your contributions to the PH site and so far you are not going to be making many friends.
We have regular meets and gatherings. Some of which can be attended my several hundred members. I would suggest that if you ever wander along to any of these meets you keep a lower profile than that managed so far!
No doubt Ted or one of the Mods will be along soon to 'Have a word' Take on board what is said, read the rules of posting and try to get to know a few people before posting such inflaming statements. We are a friendly lot in here and love a good debate! We do not however take to kindly to personal mud slinging.
Welcome and remember to think before posting. Oh! And turn your CAPS lock off please. It makes reading your posts rather difficult

If you like that kind of thing, thats fine.Personally, after looking at them at Stoneleigh last year, you cannot get an MR2 to look dimensionally correct to the 355.The one I looked at must have cost a fortune to do,but the cars was still not from the side a Ferrari, interior, not Ferrari, engine, not Ferrari and no matter how much money you wanted to spend on it,it still won't be right. They are ideal for people who haven't a clue what to look at and can puzzle them,as they look at the badge. An old girlfriend works for a very prestigious legal company, who are always willing to sue (and have done) companies who use Ferrai badges and Porsche decals,so beware all those copiers. If Mr Banham is around,he'll know all about it.....

hahahahahahahahahahaha sorry but your posts are making my sides hurt.
I take it you have been reading your copy of 'How to Win Friends and Influence People'
I must have missed it in all the capital letters but what do you drive? Just curious because you seem to be really concerned about what everyone else here drives.
I try not to bite to these types of threads (my therapist says I'm doing well) but this was fantastic, especially the stuff on the other thread.
One of the good things about these forums is that most people get on regardless of what they drive. There are some disagreements but everyone has one thing in common, they all have petrol in their veins. Now why don't you put your toys back in the pram and try again, anybody would think the other thread touched a nerve.
You have not been subject to hatred but rather some informed oppinions from people that know their subject. It is perhaps unfortunate for you that they do not match yours, but hey, that's life.
This is a kit car forum, I'm sure you realise that we treat the sticking on of extra body panels and big wheels as something more suited to the Saxo & Corsa brigade, nothing particularly wrong with that,we all started somewhere, it's just not to the taste of the vast majority of users of this forum.
If you want to spend upwards of £10 grand on an MR2, replace the shocks, fit decent wheels and tyres and have the engine worked on by Raw engineering (or any other Toyota specialist). This way you will get an outstanding handling and performing car. Or you could just add a load of weight and make the wheels stick out another foot. Your choice.

hedgehogmole, i suspect you are someone alerady on here. However, I would suggest that the majority of people here can afford an MR2 & its insurance & running costs & can tell the difference between an MR2 and a real 355 from about a quarter of a mile. I know I could. Your thoughts ?
you guys an ur mr2 to 355 kits you dont know what your missing look at this for a ferrari replica it already has the performance an handling to go with a ferrari stock so know one will accuse you of wanting to jus pose an as the for the rest of it well the gear lever is such a classic touch i think we should all agree heres a replica to be proud of
