Hi, I saw one of these cars for sale over the weekend and wanted to know if anybody knows about them at all? It's an amazing looking car but as I'm completely new to Kit Cars so I don't really know what to expect. The car itself has a 2.0L Ford Zetec Engine so does this mean that if it has any problems it can be sorted easily?... And that servicing can be performed easily? Please accept my apologies for my obvious inexperience within this field and any responses will be greatly appreciated.

Hi ruky and welcome.

You can search some of the old posts for more info on this topic and the Raffo Belva.
Great looking car and one of my favourite kits, unfortunately very few have been built, I beleieve 8 or 10 (could be wrong on these figures), but the earlier models had Vauxhall 16 v engines, later replaced by Ford zetec.

Harlequin Autokits owns the project now.

Maybe a few other PH mates can help you out with first hand info on this car.

Cheers
Italo

Hi Italo,

Many thanks for the reply, following your advice I have found some links to previous discussions...Interesting reading.

I have arranged to view the car again tomorrow so I will no doubt post back to give an update. I have to admit that I went to look at a VX220 but when I saw the Raffo I was pretty amazed. I've never seen one before and it certainly stood out from the rest. I'm sure the garage will tell me that it's reliable etc but to I would prefer to hear from people that know, many thanks again for the reply.

Regards
Ruky
