my dax rush motor :-)

I wonder whether you've driven one to conclude it's too heavy? With only 260bhp it might be too heavy but with 500bhp plus it absolutely flies and with the right set up goes round bends as well. My car is still under 650kgs and that's with a full cage.
Turbo 7s aren't the purists choice for sure but to discount them completely is wrong.
I have never and never will drive anything so quick a to b. Warm tyres on a warmish day it will redefine fast.
That said the yb 4x4 power train is heavy and there is no need for 4x4

Nice motor but far too heavy to fit in a '7' type vehicle, unless of course you only want to go on a straight road!
Quite a few corners here ;-) (and that's a supercharged VX220 I'm following). Finished off nicely witha poorly welded O/S shaft!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcQqg5EhtMI
Westfield with a Cossie YB NA engine in it (238 Bhp) and it is far from heavy. Handles like a dart with no inclination to understeer. Not sure how much weight a turbo adds.
p.s. I agree I can't see the point in the 4x4 aspect other than launches
