First the db5 replica thread now this, great to see alternatives to the cobra replicas being developed. BMW straight 6 is an interesting choice, will the 4.4 v8 fit aswell? Is this going to be a kit?

I like the chassis and the body looks very impressive
I think straight 6 bmw power will be the main option

Kit and fully built options it says on the website.

Generally nice but for me the back end lets it down. Needs some sort of lip to the boot.

The car is now painted (Scottish blue) with the white stripes same as Stirling Moss car, if you are on FB you can follow the build there.

Price is going to be the clincher. I'd guess comprehensive kit £15-20k plus donor and paint etc. £25-30k+ on the road? Any more and I'd guess it will stuggle to take off.

A DNA ferris bueller type replica has just sold for around 48k,

That is a glue on kit based on a BMW Z3, I think the Automirage one will sell as it looks very close to the original.

I have followed the build and it has quality stamped all over it.

Looking at the quality I would say it would be closer to six figures on the road.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words.
This project has been a long time in the making, but we are finally getting there. Let me know any questions you have and i'll try answer them.

We are hoping to do 3-4 of the big car shows next year, so hopefully see you at one of them.

Cheers,
Matt

You see that shed in the background of the picture, if you were to fill that with £10 notes.......
