Shame it's an American site. Would love to see something like this produced in the UK.

I have a feeling it won't be long before we see a gullwing replica available in the UK - just a hunch.

What is exactly the line with replicas, do the original manufacturers have no legal stand after so long or do the ones that are copied just turn a blind eye?

I whilst the mechanicals are almost always completely different, many are cosmetically identical on the outside.

Well with disc brakes and a reasonable chassis, should be better than the original!

Some of the originals had front discs. And what was wrong with the chassis? It did pretty well in the 1952 sports car season not to mention umpteen SCCA wins later in the 1950s.
